Interlude: domains, google, and child naming

Naming at its most ridiculous: Would you name your child based on the availability of the domain name? How about on how google-able it is? UGH....

Because it's never too early to optimize.....

Here's the WSJ story on it: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB117856222924394753.html

Why does everything have to be monetized these days?

It took 32 people 18 months to come up with that? Wonder how much it cost? $10.00 bucks sounds about right. What a cf. Here's one that could work - SayHI. It only took me about 3 seconds to come up with that - if you want you can have it - if you can sell it to Hawaii - you owe me a latte.

Yeah, spending that much time and money on marketing was very wasteful just for that slogan.

I know someone who named their little girl meridican freebird. After a BMW (the moms favorite car) and the Lynard Shynard song.

At least the domain name might be useful :)
