Have an X-treme X-mas

What better holiday than Xmas to capitalize on the "X" craze?

Not a terrible way of branding, but it only works if you actually pronounce Xmas like "eks-mas"... it sounds somewhat out of place in a formal setting.

That X thing is everywhere, not original at all the Xmas logo.

Hahaha. I agree that it's not original... the X thing is mostly used.. should have used somethin unique instead.

Extreme reminds me of those crappy Disney features where an overly animated mouse or other creature says "radical, man!" in order to establish some sort of "cool" credentials.

Sad, ain't it?

Would have been better with an Xtreme Santa snowboarding or something but still pretty good/lame

I didn't realize the pronunciation problem until you mentioned it. x x... weird huh?

I agree with you totally. People simple overuse X letter in wrong different ways. But hey, maybe sometimes that's the point of branding.

Xmas is not a good idea to use as a shortcut for Christmas. And what’s with the letter X? What is their product anyway?

In India we do not use Xmas as shortcut for Christmas.

Yeah is part from our culture to include X in everything, and even we rate things with X and clothing is measure with X so, nevermind.

The world has now realised that X means nothing. I dont see it nowadays . It was some lazy dope who found Christmas too long to utter and decided to eject Christ out of the word. Must be some senseless character who originated this crap.

Its Christmas for God's sake! Literally!

I guess the 80's was the year when the X was the top advertising word but now look overrated.

I don't think it is appropriate to shorten the word Christmas. For me, X-mas leaves negative meaning, it sounded like your Christmas is empty. To shorten words is okay but not for Christmas I think.
